Professional Training

Our JOC provides commercial pilots with the handling skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to secure an airline position flying jet aircraft covering;

  • Standard Instrument Departure (SID) routes
  • Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs)
  • Lateral Navigation (LNAV) and Vertical Navigation (VNAV)
  • Engine failures
  • Hydraulic failures
  • Electrical failures
  • Coordinating workload management with other crew members

Incorporated as part of the training will be an introduction into the use of a checklist as part of a two-crew operation, plus the use of the Quick Reference Handbook (QRH). This will be particularly useful to candidates who wish to prepare for a simulator check, and also those who are about to commence our Multi Crew Cooperation course.
